As a lot of you know, I've taken up a part time job, that for the most part has been very enjoyable for me. The money is better, and I really like the job. I program for a guy who runs a print/web design company. The first kicker was that I have to use macs here. EWWWWWWW.... That was a bit of a learning curve, but I tackled it ok, even though I get the shortcut keys mixed up between the two operating systems now.

Also some of the work I've done in HTML has been a nightmare, I won't get into details for non-coders, but I've had tasks that should have taken 10 minutes run to 3 + hours because the code was generated from Dreamweaver(for non-coders) that makes a BIG MESS!

Also another thing I've had to do is learn a whole new language for this job. Flash is the name of the beast. For all you normal people out there, that is the language that makes web pages do all the cool things.

After fighting with HTML and flash a lot these first few weeks, I finally had an awesome day with flash, and got everything I wanted to get done completed!!!! Ah hah, finally today the coder won. :) It only took a few weeks, lol.
