Well we made a HUGE batch of chili today. We're talking about 16 quarts worth, and it tastes pretty good. We never follow a recipe, so it always tastes a little different. The beautiful thing about chili and large batches like this is, if you are not 100% happy with the taste the first bowl or two, you can made some adjustments. We did make an adjustment after our supper with it, and actually will make another adjustment tomorrow. We just didn't have enough room left in our pot to make the adjustment now until we eat a bit more of the chili! What a fun experience this can be :)
They came to me coquettishly, the word "BAKED" gleaming from the package. I promised myself that I would only eat the broken chip pieces as they were sure to have lost most of their calories in the breakage. The idea worked famously until I secured the top of the bag and reached for the rolling pin.
