Ok, so had an absolutely amazing work day today. Jason our PC Tech was booked all day long, so much so in fact that I had to take one of his calls for him, and one was put off to tomorrow. Then by tonight Jason had a full schedule for tomorrow, then also some carried over onto thursday. Thus meaning if any more calls come in for tomorrow, I'll have to do them *GASP*, not like I haven't been doing them all along, it's just nice to have some help. Ask Laura, there have been many days when I leave at 8am, the I don't resurface till about 6:30pm or even later.
Today was a normal day for the most part, worked till about 6:30 or so, then took Laura out to a 7:45 movie, that was nice. Came home tho, then about an hour later I started working again, and am just finishing up stuff now, and it's ugh, 2am. 7:30am is gonna come so early. I will not complain though, one of my dreams is being realized. Even if my wife is being stubborn and not wanting to do work for our 2nd biggest client! Oh well such is life. The man can be hard to deal with at times, but I guess I'm just used to it. It's one of those things you have to deal with in life. But um hey I think I've drolled on about boring stuff long enough... I'm just not as witty with this stuff as Laura is, so I'll pass the proverbial microphone back to Laura :)
So, tomorrow, I will begin design on a new logo for this guy. I've been procrastinating the project...the client is daunting to work with—I read him as the "I better like it or I'm going to spit fire at you" sort—but Miles says he gives us lots of business so I have to play nice. Miles obviously doesn't have the same fears of self-combustion as I have.
Unfeeling cad.
My walk this afternoon inspired
this find, for I returned in a sad state of heat exhaustion.
A solar powered cap fan. Whoa. And thus, in 2 short and incomplete sentences, I have revealed the subject matter of my brain cells' afternoon fixation.
